Shoaib Ibrahim family health battles and ICU update

This fresh health scare arrives at a difficult time for the Ibrahim family, which has already been coping with serious medical issues. Shoaib Ibrahim’s wife, actor Dipika Kakar, recently underwent treatment for stage 2 liver cancer. Dipika Kakar had a tumour removal surgery in June 2025 and later shared with viewers that doctors have now declared Dipika Kakar tumour-free.

Shoaib Ibrahim earlier disclosed that Dipika Kakar needed another medical procedure before that major operation. Dipika Kakar had a cyst removal surgery, linked to the larger treatment plan for liver cancer. Throughout this phase, Dipika Kakar has been speaking directly to fans about the diagnosis, the surgeries, and recovery through regular videos on her YouTube channel, which document health progress.

Shoaib Ibrahim recalls father’s 2021 stroke and care

Shoaib Ibrahim’s father had first suffered a serious brain stroke in 2021, after which the family shifted father to Shoaib Ibrahim’s home. Shoaib Ibrahim, Dipika Kakar and caretaker Dev then took responsibility for daily care. At that time, Shoaib Ibrahim shared that a clot in the brain left father’s left side partially paralysed and that the initial 72 hours were extremely critical.

Following the 2021 incident, Shoaib Ibrahim regularly informed viewers about father’s health through vlogs and social media updates. While the family never officially declared that father had fully recovered, Shoaib Ibrahim often stressed staying hopeful and maintaining a positive atmosphere at home. The latest stroke has again placed the family in a tense waiting period, as doctors observe the response to treatment.

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar married in 2018 and welcomed a son in 2023.
