The 50 has quickly raised the stakes on JioHotstar Colors TV, with another elimination looming in the new episode. The show has moved straight into high-risk gameplay, where the contestants are chalking out plans to safeguard themselves from eviction.
The latest challenge, teased in a new promo, showed the Lion hiding 40 Safe cards across the house. Every participant was required hunt for a card to remain in the competition. Only 40 housemates were able to secure themselves, while the remaining ones found themselves at risk of elimination in The 50.
The 50 elimination: Who Got Eliminated? Why No Eviction Twist?
The pressure-filled tone of The 50 became clear in the opening episode itself, when Vanshaj Singh got eliminated the show. That elimination followed a task where five winning captains collectively decided which celebrity would leave. With the second eviction now approaching, contestants are already dealing with constant risk and shifting dynamics.
The format gives contestants no time to settle as they have to be at the top of their game to survive the battle of supremacy. Intense tasks start from the first episode, testing both physical stamina and emotional control, while eliminations can strike at almost any moment.
The likes of Karan Patel, Mr Faisu, Monalisa, Urvashi Dholakia, Ridhi Dogra, Krishna Shroff, Digvijay Rathee, Shrutika Arjun, Archana Gautam, Shiv Thakare, Nikki Tamboli, Prince Narula, Divya Agarwal, Manisha Rani and Sapna Chaudhary are participating in the show.
The 50 focuses on tough challenges, changing alliances and surprise turns that keep tension high. A single misstep can put any contestant in danger, as seen with Vanshaj Singh’s exit. While the fans expected another elimination, the makers added a new twist in the tale.
A reliable industry source told Filmibeat Chief Copy Editor Abhishek Ranjit, "The makers have planned to surprise the audience by eliminating contestants at regular intervals. Unlike Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi, the eliminations will not happen weekly. One can expect multiple eliminations in a week, sometimes two a day. The eviction episode is expected to premiere either on Wednesday or Thursday."
The 50 runs on Colors TV for television viewers, while episodes also stream on JioHotstar for digital audiences.
