Who Are The 50 Top 5 Finalists? Winner, Runner-up: Who Will Win Show Finale?
The semi‑final featured 12 remaining players, split into four colour teams of three, all chasing one ticket each. The Lion told them that from that point, teammates had effectively become rivals. Every move carried weight because only one member per team could advance, leaving seven players to face an unsafe zone and a final group decision for the last available spot.
Five contestants secured their places in the high‑stakes finale of The 50 after an intense semi‑final episode 49 on JioHotstar and Colors. The finalists were Rajat Dalal, Mr Faisu, Kaka, Shiv Thakare and Krishna Shroff. Viewers also saw a major twist when Prince Narula gave up a hard‑won finale ticket, reshaping the final line‑up and sparking sharp debate inside the Mahal.
The 50 finale arena game and rules
The arena in The 50 finale build‑up was divided into four coloured sections, matching the teams. Each section held 25 numbered boxing bags, stuffed with hay, one of which concealed a Thumbs Up and a finale circle plaque. Contestants first received a clue, then climbed the bag stack, picked a numbered flag, returned, and struck that chosen bag. A correct guess instantly confirmed a finale berth.
The Yellow team of Rajat Dalal, Nehal Chudasama and Urvashi Dholakia controlled bags 1 to 25. Their clue asked which article of the Indian Constitution protected life and personal liberty. The answer was Article 21. Rajat selected multiples of three, targeted bag 21 and uncovered the ticket. Rajat became the season’s first confirmed finalist of The 50.
The 50 finale contenders from Blue, Red and Green teams
The Blue team of Mr Faisu, Archana Gautam and Manisha Rani held bags 26 to 50. Their clue concerned the number of vertebrae in the human spine, with the answer being 33. Watching from the sidelines, Prince Narula shouted the answer to Faisu. Faisu chose bag 33, hit correctly and secured the second ticket, moving directly into the finale.
The Red team of Riddhi Dogra, Kaka and Vikrant Singh played with bags 51 to 75. Their clue asked how many miles from Earth outer space started. Space begins at 100 kilometres, roughly 62 miles. Kaka solved it, selected bag 62 and punched out the plaque, claiming the next finale place. Attention then shifted to the Green zone, where the night’s pivotal twist would unfold.
The 50 finale twist: Prince Narula QUITS The 50
The Green team of Prince Narula, Krishna Shroff and Shiv Thakare had bags 76 to 100. Their clue referenced a number special for every Indian cricket fan. Prince reacted instantly, grabbed flag 83, and hit the corresponding bag, correctly linking it to India’s 1983 World Cup win. The arena erupted as Prince appeared to join the finalist list alongside Rajat, Faisu and Kaka.
After celebrations eased, Prince gathered the cast and revealed a surprise. Prince announced that the finale ticket would go instead to Shiv Thakare. Prince explained that if Faisu had not already qualified, the pass would have gone to Faisu, since Prince believed both Faisu and Shiv fully deserved the chance. Prince called Shiv a brother, said Prince had never lost, claimed Prince’s main contest was against himself, and felt Prince had already won enough, so it was time to hand over the opportunity.
The 50 finale date, winner prize money
With Rajat, Faisu, Kaka and Shiv confirmed, the cast headed to the unsafe zone to settle the fifth place. Krishna became the fifth finalist and thanked everyone, promising not to let the watching girls down. She was given a chance to secure a spot in the finale after the final voting in the Mahal (Palace).
The final five for The 50 finale were therefore Rajat Dalal, Mr Faisu, Kaka, Shiv Thakare and Krishna Shroff. The money pot (winner prize monet) going into the last episode stood at ₹40,44,000.
The finale of The 50 is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar on Sunday (March 22) at 9:00 PM and on COLORS at 10:30 PM, bringing the season’s intense contests and alliances to a close.
