Tu Hi Re Dil Mein Cast: Simran Rawal Talks About Playing Swati, Says, “She Breaks The Usual Stereotype”

Actress Simran Rawal is playing the role of Swati in Tu Hi Re Dil Mein, alongside Priyanshi Yadav (Vrinda) and Abrar Qazi (Sanjay). While stories featuring two women and one man often make audiences assume that the third person in the equation will have a negative shade, that is not the case with Swati.

Swati brings a different perspective to the story and is not a conventional negative character. As the show has now begun its journey with audiences, Simran is thrilled to be a part of it and bring Swati's character to life on screen. The actress has now opened up about her character and shared her excitement about being a part of the show.

Sharing her excitement, she said, "Being a part of Tu Hi Re Dil Mein feels like a dream come true for me. This is my first show as a lead, and honestly, when I was selected for the role, it took me some time to process it. Initially, I couldn't believe that I had actually landed such a beautiful opportunity. But when everything finally fell into place, I felt incredibly blessed and grateful. I truly believe this is the result of my parents' support, God's blessings, and the love and encouragement I have received throughout my journey. Talking about my character Swati, she is a doctor who is kind-hearted, compassionate, and always sees the good in people. She is also someone who cannot stand by and watch something wrong happen. Swati strongly believes in doing what is right and never hesitates to raise her voice against injustice. What I love most about her is that she breaks the usual stereotype associated with the third person in a love story. People often expect such characters to bring negativity, but Swati is a very positive and genuine person. She has her own emotional journey, especially when it comes to her relationship with her mother, and viewers will get to see many interesting twists and layers in her story. As Simran, I have learned a lot from Swati. She has taught me the importance of staying calm, composed, and patient, especially during challenging situations. In reality, I am quite different from her, and that's exactly what made this role so exciting and rewarding for me as an actor. Exploring a personality so different from my own has been a wonderful learning experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed bringing Swati to life, and I hope the audience connects with her journey and showers Tu Hi Re Dil Mein with lots of love and support."
