Tu Hi Re Dil Mein | Priyanshi Yadav Talks About Portraying Vrinda’s Painful Journey: Every Woman Deserves...
Zee TV's Tu Hi Re Dil Mein began on June 15. The story of the show is getting a good response from the audience. While many thought it would be similar to what has been shown earlier, there is a freshness in the story. Viewers have especially been drawn to the performances of Abrar Qazi as Sanjay, Priyanshi Yadav as Vrinda, and Simran Rawal as Swati, whose intertwined journeys continue to keep audiences invested.

So far, viewers have seen Vrinda endure constant emotional hardship because of her stepmother despite her kind nature and selfless intentions. However, the upcoming episodes are set to bring an even more intense and unsettling turn in the story. In one of the recent promos, we have seen that Vrinda's stepmother discovers that Vrinda is the "Kismat Ki Devi". Vrinda's stepmother, Dhankor becomes determined to hold on to that fortune at any cost. She decides to force Vrinda into marrying Narendra, a man nearly twice her age without considering her emotions, aspirations, or consent.
This upcoming track sheds light on a difficult reality that many young girls and women continue to face even today where their choices are overlooked and decisions about their future are forcefully made for them.
Speaking about portraying this emotionally intense phase in Vrinda's journey, Priyanshi Yadav shared, "Playing Vrinda during this phase of the story has been emotionally difficult for me because, as an actor, you really begin to feel for the character. Vrinda is someone who is constantly giving hope and happiness to others, but in her own life she is denied basic dignity and the right to make choices for herself. What broke my heart the most is that the people who should protect her are instead trying to control her future for their own benefit. Through this track, we are showing how Vrinda's stepmother wants to keep her in the house because she believes Vrinda brings good fortune and is willing to force her into a marriage she never chose. Vrinda is uncomfortable, unheard, and emotionally trapped, yet she struggles to speak up because she has grown up believing she has to silently accept everything. Sadly, even today there are women and young girls who face pressure, manipulation, and situations where their voices are ignored. Through Vrinda's journey, we want to highlight that no one should have to sacrifice their future, comfort, or consent for someone else's expectations. I hope audiences connect with her pain but also with her strength and remember that every woman deserves the right to choose for herself and stand up for her own life."
As her stepmother's plan slowly begins to unfold, the question remains, will Vrinda be forced into a life she never wanted, or will she find the courage to change her destiny? At the same time, Sanjay and Swati's bond continues to grow stronger and may soon receive the approval of their families. But with Vrinda already imagining Sanjay as her future, the road ahead promises emotional conflict, heartbreak, and unexpected turns.
