Tum Ho Naa Episode: "Rishte Khoon Dete Hain..." Rajeev Khandelwal’s Emotional Take On Shilpa’s Journey

15 June 2026, Mumbai: The upcoming episode of Tum Ho Naa - Ghar Ki Superstar will witness one of its most emotional and inspiring moments as contestant Shilpa opens up about her long and challenging journey to motherhood, leaving host Rajeev Khandelwal deeply moved.

During the episode, Shilpa reveals that due to certain complications, she was unable to conceive. Sharing her love for children, she says that she has always been fond of kids and spent years caring for her younger cousins, niece, and nephew. She admits that becoming a mother was always her dream.

Recalling the difficult years that followed, Shilpa shares that she underwent IVF treatment, but the first attempt was unsuccessful. A few years later, she tried IVF once again, but sadly suffered a miscarriage for the second time. After enduring immense emotional pain, she and her husband decided to explore surrogacy as a way to fulfil their dream of becoming parents.

With tears in her eyes, Shilpa says that her mother is a gynecologist, making the situation even more emotionally challenging for her. She adds that despite everything, her mother stood by her side and supported her throughout the journey.

Pointing towards her sister-in-law Sreelakshmi, Shilpa recalls how she witnessed every struggle she went through. She shares that when Sreelakshmi had her own baby, Shilpa stayed with her for six months, helping her care for the child and teaching her how to feed and look after the baby.

Shilpa then reveals the life changing moment that followed. While she and her husband were planning for surrogacy, Sreelakshmi stepped forward and offered to become their surrogate instead of opting for commercial surrogacy. After undergoing medical evaluations and receiving approval from doctors, they proceeded with the IVF treatment in April 2019. Their daughter, Shikha, was born in December 2019.

Expressing her gratitude, Shilpa says that Sreelakshmi has brought immense happiness into their lives and is truly the Lakshmi of their home. She emotionally adds that she wishes to perform Anna Daan in honour of all the sacrifices Sreelakshmi made for her family.

Speaking about her sister-in-law's extraordinary gesture, Shilpa says, "Sab log kahete hai ki Kanyadaan sabse aacha daan hai, par Kokh (Womb) Daan se jyada baada daan koi bhi nhi hai."

She further shares that as a mark of gratitude, she wants to donate grains equal to Sreelakshmi's weight through Anna Daan.

Listening to the moving story, Rajeev Khandelwal is left emotional and shares a heartfelt thought, saying, "Main abhi soch raha tha, rishte khoon se toh hote hi hain, lekin mujhe lagta hai woh rishte khoon dete hain jo ek doosre ko mehsoos karte hain, ek doosre ke jazbaat samajhte hain."

The emotional moment leaves everyone on stage teary eyed, celebrating not only the bond between family members but also the power of selfless love, sacrifice, and motherhood.
