Vaishnavi Ganatra On Bringing Honesty To Jagadhatri: Keeping Aarna Emotionally Real Holds Everything Together

Vaishnavi Ganatra On Bringing Honesty To Jagadhatri

Vaishnavi says the key to playing Aarna is to keep things simple and honest. "For me, it always comes back to keeping Aarna emotionally real. Even with all the twists and suspense, I focus on how she's feeling in that moment, whether it's confusion, fear, or trust. That honesty helps maintain the intensity without overdoing it," she shares.

Balancing personal emotions with bigger conflicts in the story isn't easy, but Vaishnavi approaches it with a clear mindset. She explains, "I try to stay clear about what's making Aarna react in each scene. Sometimes it's personal emotions, and sometimes it's the larger situation. Balancing both becomes easier when you're grounded in your relationships." Vaishnavi says Aarna stands out because of her emotional place in the story. "She naturally stands apart because of where she stands emotionally. Her space in the story is different because of her relationships and where her loyalty lies," she says. This unique perspective shapes Aarna's journey, even when things get chaotic.

Vaishnavi finds that showing restraint is the hardest part of playing Aarna. "Aarna doesn't know everything that's happening, so I have to stay within her awareness. Holding back and keeping it subtle without overreacting is what takes the most control," she reveals. As the story goes on, Aarna's journey is marked by emotional changes that feel natural instead of forced. "It comes from staying present. When the emotion is genuine, the shift from strength to vulnerability happens naturally," she notes.

Trust is central to Aarna's growth. Her bond with Shivaay and Jagadhatri helps her stay grounded when things are uncertain. "Even if the rest of the house feels against her, she feels secure with them. That emotional backing is shaping her into someone more aware and very genuine at heart," Vaishnavi concludes.
