Sony Entertainment Television is readying a new supernatural thriller, Vashikaranam, which is scheduled to launch on 16th March 2026. The series will air from Monday to Friday at 10:15 PM, and episodes will also be available for streaming on Sony LIV for digital viewers.
The first teaser of Vashikaranam has already been released and has drawn attention with its eerie tone. The brief clip hints at a mysterious world built around fear, power and hidden secrets. The show is positioned as a supernatural thriller, aiming to combine psychological tension with elements of the unknown.

Vashikaranam features an ensemble cast alongside Snehlata Vasaikar, including Milind Dastane, Ujjwal Tathe, Swati Bhingadive, Sharad Gurav, Chandan Jamdade and Sweta Naik.
At the centre of the story is Suman, played by Snehlata Vasaikar, whose presence controls every room. Suman carries such authority that other characters hesitate to oppose or question decisions. The narrative follows how this power shapes relationships around Suman and drives the darker events in the storyline.
Speaking about portraying Suman, Snehlata Vasaikar said in a statement released by Sony TV's team, "I have explored many characters across genres, but Vashikaranam has been a completely different experience. My character Suman is layered, powerful, and deeply complex, and portraying her has pushed me to discover new emotional depths within myself as an actor. What makes the show special is how it explores the many shades of a woman's life."
With its weekday 10:15 PM slot on Sony Entertainment Television and availability on Sony LIV, Vashikaranam is expected to strengthen the channel's prime time line-up.
