Vashikaranam Cast: Sony Entertainment Television Welcomes Actress Amruta Dhongade, With A Strong Character

3rd April 2026, Mumbai: Marathi actress Amruta Dhongade has joined the cast of Vashikaranam - Kis Par Rakhein Vishwas, marking her return to television with a character that brings a new emotional dimension to the narrative.

Donning the role of Surekha, a young girl shaped by personal loss and unanswered questions. Surekha enters the story with a strong point of view, holding Suman responsible for her father's fate, setting up a tense and evolving dynamic.

Speaking about her role, Amruta said, "Surekha is a very emotionally driven character. She comes from a place where she is searching for answers, and that shapes how she reacts to everything around her. What I found interesting is that she carries both vulnerability and strength simultaneously. Amruta, who began her career with the Marathi film Mithun, gained recognition for her performance as Kanchi. She later became a known face on television with Mrs. Mukhyamantri, where her portrayal of Suman (Sumi) brought her widespread attention. She further strengthened her presence with Chandane Shimpit Jashi, playing Charu, a character defined by resilience and emotional strength. Her stint on Bigg Boss Marathi 4 also introduced her to a wider audience.

With this role, Amruta steps into a character that blends intensity with emotional depth, continuing her trajectory of portraying strong and layered women on screen.
