Vasudha Lead Star Priya Thakur: If It’s Meant to Be, It Will Happen at the Right Time

For Priya Thakur, who is seen in Vasudha,the first half of 2026 has been both rewarding and reassuring. Looking back, she admits it's a phase she will always be grateful for. "The last six months have been one of the best times of my life. Seeing my show Vasudha top the charts for five weeks continuously was a very special feeling," she says, with a sense of quiet pride.

She is quick to acknowledge that such moments are never individual achievements. "I feel very grateful to the universe, our audience, and my entire team. So many people work behind the scenes, and their effort makes all the difference," she adds. For Priya, success is less about numbers and more about the connection a show builds with viewers.

With so much happening in the world and within the industry, stress is almost unavoidable. But Priya has found her own way of dealing with it. "I genuinely believe that everything happens for a reason," she says. "Whenever things feel overwhelming, I pause, take a few deep breaths, and remind myself of a line by Harivansh Rai Bachchan - 'Mann ka ho toh accha, aur na ho toh aur bhi accha.' It helps me let go and trust the process."

Discipline, she feels, is what keeps her steady through all the ups and downs. "For me, discipline is non-negotiable," she says simply. "There will always be distractions and changing priorities, but showing up every day and doing your work honestly is what matters."

Talking about the industry, Priya doesn't shy away from its unpredictability. "It has always been like this, and maybe that's the beauty of it," she says. "You can never really predict what will work. But I feel if a story is told honestly, people connect with it. As actors, all we can do is keep learning and stay true to our craft."
