‘We Got Closure’: Naman Shaw Reacts To Mangal Lakshmi Going Off Air

Naman Shaw is at peace with 'Mangal Lakshmi' going off air. The actor, who played Adit, says he'd rather celebrate what the show achieved than dwell on its exit.

"Every show has its own journey. Mangal Lakshmi had a really good run - we connected with audiences, and the love we received was immense. That itself is a big win for any daily," Naman told us.

For actors, endings are always bittersweet. You get attached to the character, the team, the daily rhythm of shooting. But Naman knows the business side too well to complain.

"As actors, we always want stories to go on because we get attached to the characters and the team. But these decisions are never in our hands. Channels and producers have their own strategy - slots, numbers, new line-ups. It's part of how television works," he said.

What makes him most grateful is how the story wrapped up. Daily soaps often end abruptly, leaving characters and fans hanging. Not this time.

"I'm just grateful we got the time we did to tell Adit and Mangal's story properly, with a beginning, middle, and end. Not every show gets that closure," Naman shared.

So instead of speculation, he's choosing gratitude. "I'd rather celebrate what we achieved than speculate on what could've been. We had a strong run, we made an impact, and I'm walking away proud," the actor concluded.

Mangal Lakshmi won hearts with its story of two sisters navigating love, sacrifice, and family drama. While Adit and Mangal's journey has ended on TV, Naman says the love from viewers will stay with him.

The television drama series that premiered on February 27, 2024, on Colors TV. Produced by Panorama Entertainment, the show is an official adaptation of the hit Kannada television series Bhagyalakshmi. The final episode will air on Friday, 26 June 2026. The cast and crew are scheduled to finish their last shoot by 20 June 2026.
