Wheel Of Fortune Episode: Akshay Kumar & Surat’s Abhishek Trade Iconic Movie Dialogues: "Garam Masala" Redux

31st March,2026,Mumbai: The sets of Wheel of Fortune took a nostalgic chaotic turn as the spirit of the 2005 cult classic Garam Masala made an unexpected comeback. Surat-based contestant Abhishek quickly spiraled into a comedy sketch when the young fan decided to come up with iconic punchlines of the film in front of the host Akshay Kumar when he was asked about his marriage plans.

Akshay in his signature style began pulling Abhishek's leg about his personal life by asking him "Abhishek main jaanta hoon ki aapki shadi abhi tak nahi hui hain, aapne koi ladki dekh rakhi hain?." When asked if he had someone special in mind, Abhishek didn't miss a beat and channeled the iconic energy of Akshay's own hit, quoting the famous dialogue from his cult classic film Garam Masala from 2005 "Jo ladki hume chahiye usse hum nahi chahiye aur jo ladki ko hum chahiye voh..." . He fumbles on this part and Akshay praises his efforts to bring in the magic of the following dialogue and he takes the conversation ahead by asking Abhishek "Kaisi ladki chahiye woh bata?" Abhishek's response caught everyone off guard "Sir, ladki honi chahiye aur zinda honi chahiye!."

Never one to let a punchline slide, Akshay immediately turned to the studio audience with a bewildered expression by addressing the audience "Zinda honi chahiye matlab kya? Yeh aap log hi bataiye... ki kabhie aap logo ne kabhi dekha hai ki koi ladka laash se shaadi karta hai?"

The episode perfectly captured the seamless blend of cinematic nostalgia and spontaneous wit.
