Will Yudhishthir’s Wisdom Defeat Duryodhana’s Schemes In Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer?

Mumbai, June 3rd 2026: Sony SAB is all set to take viewers into the world of Hastinapur with its grand mythological drama, Hastinapur Ke Veer, premiering tonight at 9:00 PM. Rooted in the timeless tale of the Mahabharata, the show explores the formative years of the Pandavas and Kauravas, tracing the events that shape their destinies and sow the seeds of one of history's greatest story.

Will Yudhishthir s Wisdom Defeat Duryodhana s Schemes

In the opening week, viewers will witness the return of Kunti (Toral Rasputra) and the Pandavas (Yudhishthir - Athar Khan, Bheem - Subhash, Arjun - Urva Savaliya, Nakul - Harit Gabani and Sahdev - Mayank Yadav) to Hastinapur after years in the forest. While the Pandavas are introduced as wise, disciplined, and grounded, Duryodhana (Ayyudh Bhanushali), influenced by Shakuni (Chandan Anand), views them as a threat to his claim to the throne. Determined to humiliate them during their formal introduction to the royal court, Duryodhana orchestrates a public embarrassment. As Kunti and her sons find themselves facing public humiliation, Yudhishthir's wisdom and presence of mind help him navigate the situation in an unexpected way.

Will Yudhishthir's wisdom be enough to change the perception of the Pandavas in Hastinapur?

Toral Rasputra, who essays the role of Kunti, said, "As a mother, Kunti's greatest strength lies in the values she instills in her children. After everything she and her sons have been through, coming to Hastinapur is supposed to be a new beginning. So, when the Pandavas are mocked in front of the entire court, it is heartbreaking for her as a mother. What I love about this scene is the way Yudhishthira handles the situation. Instead of reacting with anger, he responds with maturity and wisdom, turning a moment of embarrassment into one of pride. As a parent, there are moments when you silently hope your children will remember the values you've tried to teach them and for Kunti, this is one of those moments."
