Confessions Of An Indian Teenager - The episode of today will see the confession of a girl called Neha who is not happy with the looks she possesses as she is not treated equally by her own family.

She goes to the flashback where her sister draws a sketch of their family and when she colors her skin brown. The little girl asks her sister about doing so and it is when her elder sister tells her the truth that she is different from them as her parents had adopted her.

As she grew up, she became more and more insecure about her looks. During her college days, she had a crush on a guy called Viresh. She asked him for a coffee, but the guy was rude enough to tell her that she is not the type he looks out for.

She confesses that her father, who has always motivated and inspired her, now even he is tensed about she being dark skinned. She recalls an incident where one of her aunts, on the occasion of Diwali, gifts her a skin lightening lotion. She tells her aunt that she is happy the way she looks and does not want to be like her sister. She feels hurt that even her family was not supporting her over this.

What shocks her the most is when she goes to college and Viresh, the guy whom she had a crush on, makes fun of her along with his friends. They call her a black coffee which makes her fell extremely insulted.

She goes to collect the portfolio of her sister where she meets Neil. She gets an offer from a multi-national cosmetic brand, but she refuses to it as it would only make her feel bad about her dark skin colour. Neil is the one who acts as a game changer in her life. He shows his concern for Neha and manages Neha to be appointed as an intern under the city's best photographer.

This confessions episode makes the viewers realise that looks doesn't matter, it is the belief in one's own self and the courage to do something better that counts.
