Diya Aur Baati Hum, December 6th episode written update: Bhabho wonders Sandhya hid such a big truth from her. The award ceremony begins. All achievers are awarded in the ceremony. Then Sandhya's name is announced and she is also rewarded.

Imli tells Mohan that she tried to find the egg peels but fails to find them. He asks her to find them by any way. She sees that Meena keeps the egg peels in the tiffin and hides it in her husband's shop under the pillow. Imli throws a Rs. 100 note on the door. Meena sees it, picks it up and leaves for market.

Imli picks the tiffin and takes out the egg peels. She throws them away in the dustbin. Meena comes back to shop and gets shocked to see the missing tiffin. The painter completes the paint in Imli's shop. They leave the shop leaving the fan on. Imli takes care of the open shop.

The host invites the winner's parents as well on the stage. Baba Sa and Bhabho also come up on the stage for Sandhya. The host gives balloons to all the parents who release the same in the air depicting success and joy. Bhabho does not release the balloons. She gets lost in thought of Sandhya roaming around for her job. Baba Sa asks Bhabho to release the balloons. She releases the balloons half heartedly.

Imli talks with Mishri's guardian. Meena sees her talking to Imli. Meena sends a girl to Imli to tell her that Pari is crying immensely. She sees that Paro is sleeping.

Bhabho tells Sandhya that she would not allow her to roam around for her job. Meena sends away the girl and takes charge of the shop. Kanha crawls inside the shop nd Meena locks the shop leaving Kanha inside.

Bhabho scolds Sandhya for not letting the pattern of her job. She tells her clearly that she would not allow her go anywhere.
