Diya Aur Baati Hum, November 27th episode written update: The episode begins with the child handing over the plate with Mehndi to Bhabho. On asking he tells that it is sent as there is a marriage tomorrow. She accepts the plate and gets up to keep it aside when Suraj tries to stop her, but fails.

Sandhya expresses her wish to apply Mehndi on her hands and asks Chaturi to apply it. Baba Sa gets up to eat a Paan. Sandhya asks Chaturi to apply Mehndi on Suraj's hands as well but Bhabho scolds her and tells that men apply Mehndi only on their marriage.

Hence, Chaturi applies applies Mehndi on Sandhya's hands. Bhabho and Suraj leave for market.
Meena talks on phone with her mother and tells her that nobody would visit Imli's parlour due to the expensiveness. Meena's mother tells her that they would be coming at her place for lunch as their gas is not working.

Imli tells Mohit that the painter has started the work in the shop. She asks him to come back home soon tomorrow as she has invited her parents on lunch. He asks her to ask the painter to complete the work at the earliest.

Sandhya walks Suraj at night and applies Mehndi on his palm as well. Chaturi wakes up with the noise of Sandhya's accessories. She sees that Sandhya is applying Mehndi on Suraj's palm. Baba Sa shouts in sleep and Sandhya hides under Suraj's blanket. Bhabho wakes up to drink water. Bhabho sees Sandhya missing from her bed and thinks to wake up Suraj.

Chaturi stops her by telling Bhabho that Sandhya has gone to bathroom. Bhabho is about to sleep when she notices Sandhya's accessories and decides to wake up Suraj but Chaturi again convinces her and asks her to sleep. Sandhya applies Mehndi on Suraj's palm under the blanket itself in the light of his mobile.
