Ek Boond Ishq December 9th Episode Written Update: Adi has a cold word with his mother when she questions him where is he spending all the money. Mrityunjay overhears his saying and slaps Adi in front of his mother, Tara and his sister.

Mrityunjay sits alone and wonders how he could slap his dearest younger brother. He notices the pearl when Tara walks in the cottage. He asks her to take rest but she does not leave. She says that she was looking for this pearl since so many days. He asks to take the pearl and leave but she does not go and says she will not leave until he accompanies her back home. He feels embarrassed and guilty for hitting Adi. She tries to make her understand that what he did was right and Adi deserved that slap. She holds him by his hand and takes him back home.

Adi sits in the lap of his Tayaji and asks how can Mrityunjay hit him. Tayaji tells him that he will send Mrityunjay back to jail. Adi feels insecure and Kalavati plans to use Adi as a puppet to rule the Shekhavats.

Nandu and her mother come back home searching for Tara but they realise that she has left. She complains why didn't she tell her before leaving on which Tara tells that Mrityunjay asked to come back home so that she can recover fast. Her mother blesses the couple.

Adi's mother is extremely hurt because of Adi's harsh words. She puts all the blame on mismatch of the bedsheet, pillow covers and curtains. Jairaj enters and tries to console her. She questions how can Adi hurt her and she realises how right Mrityunjay is.

Mrityunjay enters the room and scolds Tara for not taking medicine on time. She asks him to mash and mix up the medicine in water and then give her to consume. They discuss his hit on Adi on which Mrityunjay tells that she is his mother and he loves her a lot. She speaks out that Raghu Kaka was Radha's father who used to work in their bungalow.

Mrityunjay asks the Raghu Kaka to treat his grandfather in the best way so that his identity is revised. Tara tells Nandu that she was not aware of Adi's marriage when she met him first. Raghu Kaka receives a call and scolds the person for calling him. Mrityunjay supports his grandfather.
