Yeh Hai Mohabbatein December 26th Episode Written Update: When Ishita fails to contact Raman, she goes to Shagun’s place to bring her to the hospital, as Ruhi’s parents were needed to sign important papers for her treatment. A heartless Ashok prevents Shagun from going there.

In Ishika’s house, preparation for her engagement goes on. Guests arrive. Prateek arrives with his parents.

Ruhi’s aunt, who has been informed about the truth by Dimple, the true culprit behind Ruhi’s illness, arrives in Valla house. She insists on going to the police station. The valla family files an F.I.R to the police against Ishita, charging her of kidnapping their child.

Police arrive in Ishita’s house. They insult her parents and ransack the house to search for Ruhi. Ruhi’s aunt cleverly drops the bottle of cough syrup inside a basket in Ishita’s house and a police staff discovers it. the police arrest Ishita’s parents who get shocked like anything. The whole thing turns too pathetic for the Iyer family. A great mess is created instead of an engagement ceremony.

As Ruhi recovers, Ishita comes back with her. Arriving at home she comes to know what has happened there. She gets dumb in shock for some time and then hurries to go the police station to rescue her parents. Prateek tells her to postpone the engagement for some time and not to go in clash with Mr Raman, who is a big client for Prateek. Prateek behaves too practically in the situation and it hurts Ishita. Their engagement becomes uncertain.
