Jodha Akbar 14th January written Episode: The whole Mughal palace is busy with the preparation of marriage between Mirza and Shivani. As Mirza is getting dressed up for the ceremony, Akbar himself comes to look after him. Mirza becomes emotional and remembers their childhood days when Akbar used to teach him sword-fighting. He reminisces that at that time Akbar promised to dress Mirza in a groom’s attire, in time of his marriage.

Maha Manga tells Shivani that she has seen her with Tejwant, in their moment of closeness. She says that she understands her crisis and insists that Shivani should not get married to Mirza, whom she does not love. She insists on Shivani’s escaping the marriage.

Shivani wants to visit the Ambe Ma Temple before marriage, as Tejwant is waiting for her at the temple. She tells her family members that she has to visit the temple to fulfill an oath to God. Her grandmother strongly objects to this as a bride should not move out of home just before the marriage. As Jodha assures that she will take Shivani to the temple, Grandma gives her consent. Jodha takes consent from Akbar too.

Everyone gathers in the marriage hall and waits for Jodha and Shivani. Before leaving the palace, Shivani feels sorry to hurt her family members, but she knows that she cannot live without Tejwant. At the temple, when Jodha is busy in prayer, Shivani uses the opportunity to elope with Tejwant. She leaves the prayer ground and meets Tejwant, who is waiting for her outside the temple. The two ride on horse and leave the place promptly. One of Jodha’s attendants sees this, but before she can stop them, they escape. Jodha is shocked to hear that Shivani has left the place riding on someone’s horse. She feels helpless and fails to understand who the person can be.
