Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bharat Sir To Be A Martyr To ‘Mission Mahabali’?

Diya Aur Baati Hum's September 11th episode: Lalima is criticized by the Rathi family for her interference in Sooraj’s life. Lalima tells Ved that she will cure his father within three days. Lokesh insists that Lalima should stop doing this. She tells him that she will obey him once Sooraj gets cured. Lokesh agrees.

Sandhya takes Manjari to a temple after the latter becomes paralyzed. They are accompanied by the Garjana soldiers and Shekhar himself. Sandhya’s plan is to kill Manjari in the temple. She has informed Bharat Sir accordingly.

In the temple, Sandhya discovers Bharat Sir in the guise of the priest. He sits for pooja and utters chants. He prepares a pot of water for Manjari. Sandhya understands that he has poisoned the water in a way, so that Manjari dies a slow death after a few hours.

Bharat Sir completes the puja and gives the pot of water to Sandhya. Sandhya proceeds towards Manjari with the pot of water. Shekhar stops her. He says he cannot allow anything to be given to Manjari, without prior testing. He tells Bharat to drink the water.

Bharat comes to Sandhya with steady nerves. He says he has no problem to drink the holy water! Sandhya becomes pale. Bharat utters in his mind that his life is not more important than the Mission Mahabali! He drinks the water and leaves the temple, giving a coconut in Sandhya’s hand.
