Junooniyatt update: Ankit Gupta's show has managed to create ripples on the small screen, courtesy of the drama-packed episodes. After a good start, the romantic drama co-starring Neha Rana and Gautam Singh Vig witnessed a drop in numbers. Despite changing the track and time slot, the show couldn't set the TRP charts on fire.

TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for Elaahi and Jahan's reunion as the two lovebirds have been separated. The former couple parted ways due to a misunderstanding, leaving the viewers upset.

There are mumours in the industry that Junooniyatt will face another time slot change from next month. Yes, you read that right! Filmibeat has learned that the show is in danger of losing its 9pm slot.

Last month, Junooniyatt was shifted to 9pm from its original 8:30pm slot to make way for Neerja. It replaced Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh starrer Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, which moved to JioCinema due to low TRPs.

While Junooniyatt did witness a rise in numbers after the culmination of Indian Premiere League 2023, the new track is yet to yield great results.

AGNISAKSHI TO GO OFF AIR? JUNOONIYATT TO REPLACE

A reliable source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Junooniyatt is expected to witness another slot change as Colors channel is gearing up to launch a new fiction show next month. It will be their next big property after Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and before Bigg Boss 17. Swastik Productions, which is currently producing Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyaag Tandav, is coming with a new romantic drama for the leading GEC."

"The channel wants to give a prime time slot to the new show and hence, they have decided to air at 9pm. Junooniyatt, which currently sits at the same slot is expected to be shifted to 9:30pm slot. Agnisakshi will go off air soon as the show couldn't pick up pace in terms of numbers," the khabri added.

Gossip mills suggest that Niyati Fatnani and Vishal Aditya Singh are expected to star in the romantic drama titled Chand Jalne Laga. There's no official confirmation about the casting as the makers are still busy with the pre-production.
