After the makers introduced a new track, TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for Anupama and Anuj's reunion. The two lovebirds have parted ways over a misunderstanding following their separation from Choti Anu.

Veteran actress Apara Mehta has started the shoot for the Star Plus show. She is making a comeback to the channel after a long time. The actress is well-known for her role of Savita Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which ran for eight years on the leading GEC.

A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Expect more drama in Anupamaa as the makers will take things a notch higher. There will be a small time jump in the daily soap. While Apara Mehta will be seen as Anupamaa's dance guru, Aman Maheshwari will play one of her students. The duo will bring a major twist in the storyline."

"Contrary to the rumours, Anupamaa and Anuj are not getting divorced; however, they will not get reunited anytime soon. There's a lot to be explored in the storyline. Maya will get punished for her actions but there's still time for that," the source added.

Interestingly, the current track is also focusing on Samar and Dimpy's wedding celebrations. The show co-starring Sagar Parekh, Sudhanshu Pandey, Chhavi Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Nidhi Shah will soon witness another high in the storyline.
