Asmi Deo's father, while talking to a portal, said that he contacted the production house when the rumours about the leap surfaced on the internet. He said that there is 'no truth to the rumours'. "Asmi will continue to be a part of the show for a few more months," he told ETimes.

Asmi Deo, while interacting with the portal, confirmed that she is shooting everyday with Gaurav Khanna and her track is not over in the show. She stated the shoot for Anupamaa will continue.

Asmi Deo is an important part of Anupamaa that also stars Madalsa Sharma, Sudhanshu Pandey, Chhavi Pandey, Nidhi Shah and Sagar Parekh. Her father added that there is 'no information about the leap' when asked if her track was ending.
