A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Anupama and Anuj will reunite but not now. It's a daily soap. How can it be complete without twists and turns? There's will be a major drama leading to Anuj and Anupamaa's divorce following which new entries will join the show."

Contrary to the rumours, neither Madalsa Sharma nor Asmi Deo are leaving the daily soap, which is the Hindi remake of Sreemoyee.
