The show starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna has set the TRP charts on fire. A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "I want to meet the person spreading such rumours. We are moving towards the next stage in Anupamaa's life and it will have a connection with Malti Devi. Her younger version will be seen in the show. Why will we ever replace an artist like Apara ji? She's such a veteran actress and brings her charm to the daily soap. She's not getting replaced as she is an integral part of Anupamaa."

Folks, the new track will focus on Malti Devi and her early years when she had a child and partner but let go off everything as she wanted to focus on her career. Apara Mehta's real-life daughter Khushali Zariwala will be seen as the younger Malti Devi in the show.

Apara, while interacting with a portal, spoke about her daughter entering the show. The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress said that she was not aware about her daughter being cast for the role of younger Malti Devi in Anupamaa.

"I was not even aware and it came as a complete surprise when Khushali told me about the same," she told ETimes. Khushali received a call from Rajan Shahi's team for the said role. Apara expressed her happiness on seeing her daughter in the show as she believes Khushali's eyes are like her.
