Anupamaa twist: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer has remained in the headlines after Samar's death track was incorporated into the storyline. In a major development, the makers bumped off Sagar Parekh's character from the show, leaving everyone shocked. Is Choti Anu dying in Anupamaa? This is the question on everyone's mind ever since the official Instagram handle of Star Plus released a new promo of the show.
Sharing an update about the track, a source had earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "The creative team has planned a special twist for the audience in the upcoming episodes. Anupama's dream of going to the United States Of America will be finally fulfilled; however, everything comes at a price. She might have to leave something precious at home to step ahead in the race called life."
As Anuj didn't feature in the promo, fans wondered if MaAn separation is on the cards in the show. When asked if MaAn will not stay together in the USA, the source quipped, "Viewers will be surprised after the track. That's all I can say."

Speculations are rife that Choti Anu might die in Anupamaa after the America track is introduced. It was said that Choti Anu's death might lead to Anupama and Anuj's separation following which Anupama would shift base to the USA.
After staying tight-lipped about the rumours floating on the internet, Rajan Shahi broke his silence over the same. He confirmed that Choti Anu is not dying in the show contrary to the rumours. The ace producer said that no character would die in the serial and the creative team is busy focusing on the new track.
Rajan Shahi, who also produces Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, called the rumour 'false', putting an end to the conjecture.
"Nobody is dying in Anupamaa. Things on the story front are in process. But this is false news," Rajan told IWMBuzz.
