Apara Mehta, in an interaction with a portal, confirmed her entry in Anupamaa. She spilled the beans on her character, stating that it would be a cameo role.

APARA MEHTA TO PLAY GURUMAA IN ANUPAMAA

Apara, who has featured in several shows, said that she is happy to be associated with Anupamaa. She revealed that she rejected 7 daily soaps as she was preoccupied with work. However, when Rajan Shahi offered her the show, she couldn't say no.

"I rejected seven daily soaps as I was busy with different projects. When I got this offer, I had no reason to say no. When Rajan sir called, I immediately said yes because he always gave me what I deserved as an actor. He will do best for me always when I did Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai," Apara Mehta told India Forums.

Interestingly, the Hamari Saas Leela actress was seen in a cameo role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai when it starred Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan.
