Following the footsteps of Kundali Bhagya and Udaariyaan, the production house is rumoured to be introducing a time jump in the romantic drama. The news spread like wildfire on the internet, leaving the viewers surprised.

According to a report in India Forums, the creative team will spice up things by churning out a new track. The show is expected to take a 20-year leap in the upcoming month, the report added.

While Harshad, Neil and Ayesha will make an exit from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein, Virat's family members will retained in the show.

Fans have expressed their displeasure over the way the makers are planning to revamp the show. They have compared the show to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where Rajan Shahi introduced a generation leap after the story reached a stagnant point.
