Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 new time slot: Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar's show has remained in headlines ever since the rumours about it going off air surfaced on the internet. Speculations about the romantic drama ending spread like wildfire after Sony TV confirmed the launch date and timings of Barsaatein.

BARSATEIN TO REPLACE BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN 3

Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon's show will hit the airwaves from July 10 at 8pm. It is launching at a prime time slot and will compete with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which earlier starred Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt in lead roles.

Contrary to the rumours, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 is not going off air but it is shifting to a new time slot. While Shivangi's show will beam at 8pm, BALH 3 will move to the 7:30pm. Punyashlok Ahilyabai, which currently airs at 7:30, will shift to the 7pm slot after Mere Sai goes off air.

BALH 3 GETS NEW TIME SLOT

A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 was always supposed to be a three-month-long show. It is a finite series and the channel wanted to give a gift to their loyal audience, who have showered the show with love and blessings. BALH 3 will shift to the 7:30pm slot from July 10 as the makers are confident that it will continue to get the same adulation from the audience."

WHY BADE ACHHE 3 DIDN'T SHIFT TO OTT?

There were mumours in the industry that the much-loved show would shift to SonyLIV from next month. However, there's no truth to the conjecture. When we asked a well-placed source, he told us, "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 was never supposed to be shifted to the OTT platform. It is a show made for the masses, who love Ram and Priya's love story. Channel never thought of ending it or shifting it to OTT as it was planned as a finite series."

Earlier in the day, a source exclusively told Filmibeat, "Expect the unexpected in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. Ram and Priya's wedding will not be a normal affair. It will be loaded with twists and turns.
