There's a big twist in tale as the creative team has planned the entry of Jay Khurana aka Simba Nagpal's mother in the show. Yes, you read that right!

Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin co-star is all set to enter the show as Jay's mother. The character is rumoured to be playing a key role in Jay and Aradhana's relationship. We are talking about Sheetal Maulik, who was last seen as Sonali Chavan in GHKPM. She quit the Star Plus daily soap after it took a generation leap and introduced Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma as the new leads.

Sheetal will essay the role of Neeta, who is Jay's mom. She is a businessman, known for her arrogance and indifference towards others. Talking about her role, Sheetal told ETimes, "Neeta is different from Sonali Chavan, who had a comic element." She described Neeta as 'dominating, serious and someone who 'means only business'.
