Starring TV's Naira aka Shivangi Joshi as Aradhana, the show is set against the backdrop of journalism. Barsaatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka marked the TV comeback of Kushal Tandon after six years. And now, it will mark the return of another popular TV star after six long years.

A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "The creative team has planned a special track to kick-start Aradhana and Reyansh's love story. Of course, they will develop feelings for each other but not so soon. It's not your typical daily soap, expect the unexpected in Barsaatein."

Shivangi and Kushal's sizzling chemistry has already captured the attention of the netizens and now, all eyes are on their upcoming track.

BARSATEIN NEW ENTRY

The makers have plans to spice up the drama by introducing a new character. Remember Nausheen Ali Sardar? The ever-popular Kusum in Kkusum will be making her comeback to the TV screens with Barsatein. Yes, you read that right! She is returning to Ekta Kapoor's production house and Sony TV after a long time time.

Nausheen, who had refrained from taking up roles for TV shows, gave her approval for Barsatein. The TV diva is excited to be a part of the show and hopes to entertain the audience with her performance.

The Gangaa star will be seen as Malini Khanna in Barsatein. While the details about her role have been kept under wraps, sources suggest that Malini will change Reyansh and Aradhana's life.

When asked why she took up the role, the actress told ETimes that she was impressed by the modern storytelling and visual presentation. She said that she is confident the viewers will like her character.

On the professional front, Naushan was last seen on TV in Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga in a cameo role. The show starred Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur. The latter was replaced by Yeh Unn Dino Ki Fame Ashi Singh after she quit the Sony SAB show.
