Barsatein twist: Ekta Kapoor has created magic in terms of storytelling as she has introduced Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi as a couple in Barsaatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka. The romantic drama has managed to impress the audience with its entertaining episodes. Barsatein, which replaced Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar starrer Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, focuses on the story of Aradhana and Reyansh. Despite their differences, the two somehow fell in love; however, the situation was not in their favour. The couple faced several turbulences in their relationship and ultimately, Aradhana got hurt by Reyansh's actions.

Kushal Tandon, who made waves in Beyadh opposite Jennifer Winget, made a comeback to the small screen after six years with Barsatein. He plays the role of Reyansh while Shivangi Joshi is seen as Aradhana. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai chose an author-backed role for her return to the fiction space after participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.

After getting heartbroken, Aradhana is very conscious and she doesn't want to make a bad decision. The makers have planned a special twist before the reunion and it will definitely impress the audience."

In the episode that aired on September 12, 2023, Aradhana tried to contact Kimaya. She was the one who helped Kimaya run away with her beau Angad. Things turned ugly when Reyansh found out the truth. He got angry with Aradhana, asking her if he knew how dangerous Jindal family members were.

Reyansh slammed Aradhana as he expressed his displeasure with her and her actions. He reminded her that Jindals can harm Kimaya to achieve their dreams.
