While Kushal is making his comeback to the small screen, Shivangi has opted for an author-backed role once again after Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

While Meera has remained tight-lipped about her entry, gossip mills suggest that her character will be vital to the storyline. Barsatein, which replaced Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3, will soon churn out a drama-packed sequence that is expected to capture the attention of the netizens.

While Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar's finite series has been shifted to 7:30pm, Barsatein is competing with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Shiv Shakti- Tap Tyaag Tandap and Radha Mohan at 8pm slot.
