Bekaboo TWIST: NEW Entry In Shalin Bhanot's Show, THIS Naagin Star To Play Eisha Singh's Boyfriend

Bekaboo twist: Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh's show has been making waves ever since it went on air on Colors channel. Speculations were rife that the fantasy drama would end along with Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6 on July 9. However, the rumours turned out to be wrong as it got an extension.

SHALIN BHANOT'S BEKABOO SHIFTED TO JIOCINEMA

Considering the popularity of Bebakoo on OTT, the channel shifted the show to JioCinema. As Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 is launching from this weekend, Eisha Singh and Shalin Bhanot's show will now exclusively beam on the streaming platform.

Filmibeat was the first portal to inform our readers about the big shift. "Yes, it is true that Bekaboo is also going off air along with Naagin 6. But is it not ending as Colors TV is shifting the show to JioCinea to make way for their top property. While the channel earlier wanted to shift the show to 7pm slot, the low ratings of Bekaboo didn't do any favour to it. Despite the massive hype and buzz, Ekta Kapoor's show could never muster a strong rating on weekends. It will be replaced by Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 from July 15," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Bekaboo replaced Bigg Boss 16 during weekends in March; hower, it failed to set the TRP charts on fire. "Strong competition from already established daily soaps like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, channel's reduced reach and IPL 2023 turned out to be detrimental for the show. Bekaboo would have worked better at 8pm slot, if the channel had promoted it better," a leading industry source said on condition of anonymity.

NEW ENTRY IN BEKABOO

Amid the shift to OTT, the makers have added a new twist in tale. Get ready for a special entry in the show. A popular TV star will be seen in Bekaboo as Eisha Singh's boyfriend. We are talking about Rohit Choudhary, who was last seen in Swaranghar.

Interestingly, he makes a return to Balaji Telefilms after working with them in Naagin and Brahmarakhas. As Bela has been missing after the fire accident, her look-like Sofia has entered the picture. Rohit will play the role of Yatin Gandhi, who is Sofia's NRI boyfriend. He will be seen as a businessman in Ekta Kapoor's show.

Confirming his entry, he shared a post on Instagram and revealed his look. "Watch me as Yatin in Bekaboo @officialjiocinema. And Tej in Gauna ek pratha @shemarooumang. Grateful as being part of two shows at a time and shooting for these two totally different characters. Ab bas lead hi chahiye 🫰iske baad. Keep watching my shows and keep loving my acting.
