And now, another daily soap is all set to bid adieu to the audience. We are talking about Pyaar Ke Saath Vachan DharamPatnii. The show, which was launched with several expectations in November 2022, will end its journey after six months on the small screen.

The show starring Fahmaan Khan and Kritika Yadav will air its last episode next month. Yes, you read that right!

A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Dharam Patni will be pulled off air next month, in the second week of June. The daily soap couldn't perform as per expectations despite having an impressive star cast."

WHY IS DHARAM PATNI ENDING?

"Despite the twists and turns, Dharam Patni couldn't rake in huge TRPs. The show faced stiff competition from Neil Bhatt-Ayesha Singh starrer Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus at the 8pm slot. PKSVD is going off air due to low TRPs. The decision was taken earlier this month," the source quipped when asked why Dharam Patnii is going off air when there are other low performing shows like Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Junooniyatt, Agni Sakshi on the channel.

THIS SHOW TO REPLACE DHARAM PATNII

While gossip mills suggested that Neeraj will replace Dharam Patnii, our source maintained that Shiv-Shakti will take the 8pm slot on Colors channel. "The channel is yet to decide the time slots of the two new launches -Neeraj and Shiv-Shakti. Both the shows will be launched on June 12 at prime time slots. Shiv-Shakti, which is produced by Siddharth Tewary, will be the next big property on Colors TV. Tina Datta's show Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum ( which is helmed by the same production house) airs at 9pm slot on a rival channel. I don't think the show will get 9pm slot on Colors," the khabri told us.
