Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum last episode: All good things come to an end and something similar happened with Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum. The show, which starred Tina Datta and Jay Bhanushali, has ended its journey on the small screen.

WHY HUM RAHE NA RAHE WENT OFF AIR?

Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, which was launched in April 2023 with much expectations, aired its last episode on September 22, 2023 on Sony TV. Sumbul Touqeer and Mishkat Varma starrer Kavya- Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon will replace the show at the early evening slot.

Sharing the reason behind the show ending in five months, an industry expert said, "Hum couldn't meet the expectations and failed to strike a chord with the audience. Despite an interesting cast and impressive storyline, competition from other daily soaps and IPL 2023 affected the show. The channel pulled the plug as Hum couldn't deliver enough ratings. I believe the show could have worked better if it didn't face direct competition from IPL."

Hum was moved to the 7:30pm slot to make way for Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 and this also affected the ratings of the romantic drama. Both Tina Datta and Jay Bhanushali received critical acclaim for their performance and sizzling chemistry. The show might have ended in a short span of time but their performance will be etched forever in the hearts of the viewers.

It was even said that Katha Ankahee might go off air; however, Filmibeat debunked the rumour. A source exclusively told us, "What rubbish! How many times do we have to squash such rumours. Katha Ankahee is one of the most popular shows on Sony TV. It not only enjoys a significant fan following in India but across the world. It has been doing amazing in different markets and Sony TV is in no mood to pull the plug on it. Unlike Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum, it is not under the scanner."
