Indian
Idol
14
Update:
The
thirteenth
season
of
Sony
TV's
hugely
popular
singing
reality
show
Indian
Idol
ended
in
April
this
year
with
Rishi
Singh
walking
away
with
the
winner's
trophy
and
Deboshmita
Roy
declared
as
the
first
runner-up.
After
the
success
of
Indian
Idol
13,
it
is
finally
returning
with
its
fourteenth
season
very
soon.
While
the
announcement
has
already
left
fans
excited,
the
upcoming
season
will
have
many
changes
in
comparison
to
Indian
Idol
13.
First
of
all,
Aditya
Narayan
is
not
going
to
host
Indian
Idol
14,
and
the
makers
have
roped
in
popular
TV
star
Hussain
Kuwajerwala
for
hosting
duties.
For
those
who
are
unaware,
Hussain
is
returning
to
Indian
Idol
as
host
after
a
gap
of
eight
years
and
he's
looking
forward
to
hosting
the
show
once
again.

JUDGES
REVEALED
Indian
Idol
13
was
judged
by
Himesh
Reshammiya,
Neha
Kakkar,
and
Vishal
Dadlani.
However,
the
judges'
panel
too
is
set
to
witness
a
few
changes
this
time.
While
Vishal
Dadlani
is
returning
as
a
judge
in
Indian
Idol
14,
Neha
and
Himesh
are
going
to
give
the
show
a
miss
this
time
and
have
been
replaced
by
two
popular
singers.
Yes,
you
read
that
right!
Well,
the
makers
have
roped
in
Shreya
Ghoshal
and
Kumar
Sanu
to
judge
Indian
Idol
14
along
with
Vishal
Dadlani.
While
the
reason
behind
Neha's
absence
from
the
new
season
is
not
yet
known,
Himesha
couldn't
be
a
part
of
it
due
to
his
commitment
to
the
new
season
of
Sa
Re
Ga
Ma
Pa.

CONFIRMS
ABSENCE
FROM
INDIAN
IDOL
14
Confirming
the
same,
Himesh
told
ETimes,
"I
am
judging
Sa
Re
Ga
Ma
Pa
this
time
because
the
talent
is
excellent.
And
I
had
dates
to
give
to
the
show.
We
have
already
shot
four
episodes
and
the
show
will
go
on
air
on
August
24.
My
dates
were
not
matching
with
the
14th
season
of
Indian
Idol.
But
I
am
glad
that
Kumar
Sanu
ji
is
judging
the
show.
It
will
be
a
great
season
for
them.
I
did
not
have
dates
later
too,
because
I
will
start
shooting
for
my
film
by
the
end
of
this
year."
Currently,
the
auditions
are
going
on
and
the
makers
are
yet
to
announce
the
premiere
date
and
time.
