Junooniyatt To Go OFF AIR Within 4 Months? After Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Ankit Gupta's Show To END In June

Junooniyatt off air: Ankit Gupta's show has been trending on social media after the rumours about it ending next month surfaced on the internet. While the channel and the production house has remained tight-lipped about the development, speculations are rife that the musical drama will bid adieu to the viewers soon.

JUNOONIYATT TO GO OFF AIR NEXT MONTH?

Ankit Gupta, Gautam Vig and Neha Rana's show was launched with a bang in February 2023. The daily soap replaced Barrister Babu at the 8:30pm slot on Colors channel. While the numbers were decent in the beginning, it began to drop after the Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2023 started.

The news of the show facing the axe within four months of launch has surprised the viewers. While the TRPs remained stagnant, the fans were confident that the show would pick up pace soon after the new track is introduced. However, it seems nothing is working for the drama.

If a recent report in Bollywoodmdb is to be believed, the channel has decided to pull the plug on Junooniyatt. The show is expected to go off air sometime in June.

ANKIT GUPTA'S JUNOONIYATT TO END IN 4 MONTHS

Several shows on Colors channel including Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, DharamPatnii, AgniSakshi are ending soon due to low TRPs. While Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh starrer Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal was a finite series. Fahmaan Khan's Dharam Patni will end after six months.

Junooniyatt, which is a relatively newer property, is facing the axe in four months. We have not received a confirmation from our sources and we promise to come back to you with an exclusive information about the development soon.

JUNOONIYATT LATEST TRP

None of the new launches on Colors TV are working. While Junooniyatt got a TRP of 0.9, Bekaboo fetched a rating of 1. DharamPatni registered a TVR of 1.1 while Naagin 6 and Udaariyaan got a rating of 1.2 each.

Ankit Gupta, who was riding high on the wave of Bigg Boss 16, immediately gave his nod to Junooniyatt after he got eliminated from Salman Khan's reality show. He is yet to react to the rumours of the daily soap going off air.
