Katha Ankahee twist: Adnan Khan and Aditi Dev Sharma's popular show has managed to create ripples on the small screen, courtesty of the entertaining episodes. The daily soap has kept the viewers engaged as it showcases the story of Katha and Viaan. Gossip mills suggested that Katha Ankahee would go off air to make way for Dabanggi. However, Filmibeat debunked the speculations and confirmed that the show will continue to air on Sony Entertainment Television. "Contrary to the rumours floating on the internet, Katha Ankahee is not going anywhere. It is performing well and the channel is happy with its decent performance. The show is heading towards a leap and it will be the major highlight of the daily soap. Why will the channel introduce a leap when it has to end a show? Please don't believe the rumours. The show is here to rock and roll," a source told us.

New show Dabangii will replace Kathaa Ankahee at 8:30pm from October 30, 2023. The show starring Aditi Dev Sharma and Adnan Khan will be shifted to the 7pm slot from the same day.

"Dabangii was earlier supposed to take the 7pm slot on the channel but the programming team changed the decision as they believed it could perform well at a prime time slot. Katha Ankahee will be moved to the early evening, marking its end with the prime time slot of 8:30pm. However, the channel is confident that the audience will continue to love the show at the new slot," an industry source told us.

KATHA ANKAHEE SPOILER: VIAAN IN JAIL AFTER LEAP

The makers have introduced a leap in the storyline to spice up the drama. After the eight-month leap, Viaan landed up jail after his marriage with Katha was called off. Maya is responsible for ending the marriage plan and Viaan is aware of her devil deeds.

Will Viaan and Katha get reunited after the leap? The makers have planned a special twist for the viewers.

We earlier informed our readers about the entry of Manish Raisinghan in the show, which is produced by Sphere Origins. The Sasural Simar Ka fame actor is playing the parallel lead opposite Aditi Sharma after the eight-month leap in the show.

According to a report in Tellychakkar, child actress Sarah Killedar is the newest addition to the cast. She will be seen as Manish Raisinghan's on-screen daughter in the show. The child artist was recently seen in Zee TV's new show Kyunki Saas Bhi Maa Bahut Beti Hoti Hai.
