Katha Ankahee twist: Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma's show has managed to keep the viewers engaged with its drama-packed episodes. The makers introduced an eight-month leap to spice up the drama and grab more eyeballs. Considering the popularity of the serial, the creative team has roped in popular actors to play key roles after the leap.

IS KATHA ANKAHEE GOING OFF AIR?

There were mumours that Sony Entertainment Television might pull the plug on Katha Ankahee. However, Filmibeat was the first portal to squash the rumours."Contrary to the rumours floating on the internet, Katha Ankahee is not going anywhere. It is performing well and the channel is happy with its decent performance. The show is heading towards a leap and it will be the major highlight of the daily soap. Why will the channel introduce a leap when it has to end a show? Please don't believe the rumours. The show is here to rock and roll," a source earlier told us.

The official Instagram handle of Sony TV has dropped a new promo to confirm that the show will shift to the 7pm slot to make way for Dabangii. The caption for the post read, "Ab naye samay pe dekhiye kyu Vihaan Katha ke liye sab kuch kar guzarne ko tayyar hai. Dekhiye Katha Ankahee, Mon-Fri, 8.30 pm aur 30th October se Mon-Fri, shaam 7 baje sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par."

WHY IS KATHA ANKAHEE GETTING A NEW TIME SLOT?

"Dabangii was earlier supposed to take the 7pm slot on the channel but the programming team changed the decision as they believed it could perform well at a prime time slot. Katha Ankahee will be moved to the early evening, marking its end with the prime time slot of 8:30pm. However, the channel is confident that the audience will continue to love the show at the new slot," an industry source quipped.

While the timings have been changed, the makers have left no stone unturned to increase the entertainment quotient. Manish Raisinghan has entered as the new man in Katha's life. He is playing the third wheel in Katha and Viaan's relationship.

WILL KATHA-VIAAN REUNITE SOON?

Samar Vermani, who plays the role of Eshaan in the serial, revealed if Katha-Viaan's reunion is on the cards or not. The actor, while talking to a portal, confirmed that KaVi will be together in a few months time. He spoke about the new twist and the entries in Kathaa Ankahee.

"Personally, if you ask me, I would say, they should be together. They have faced all the demons together, and they need to be together. If not now, in a few months down the line, they will be together!! Katha being with a new man is a new hurdle that we are seeing. Hopefully, Viaan and Katha will overcome this hurdle too and get together in future," Samar Vermani told IWMBuzz.
