Katha and Viaan were supposed to get married; however, Maya's evil plans spoiled their wedding celebrations. Their wedding was called off following which Viaan went to the jail. Things turned ugly as Viaan and Kathaa got separated and they went on different paths. Viaan was heartbroken to know that his love was no longer a part of his life.

After the leap, Manish Raisinghan entered the show as Raghav. The Sasural Simar Ka actor is playing the third wheel in Katha and Viaan's relationship. His entry has created ripples on the internet as fans want to see Kavi reunited.

After the leap, the channel shifted Kathaa Ankahee to the 7pm slot, making way for Dabangii. "Dabangii was earlier supposed to take the 7pm slot on the channel but the programming team changed the decision as they believed it could perform well at a prime time slot. Katha Ankahee will be moved to the early evening, marking its end with the prime time slot of 8:30pm. However, the channel is confident that the audience will continue to love the show at the new slot," an industry source told Filmibeat.
