KBC 2023: The biggest reality show on Indian television is all set to return with a bang in the upcoming months. There's no prize for guessing that we are talking about Kaun Banega Crorepati. After a successful season fourteen, the channel and the production house are not busy with the pre-production work for the new season.

On Sunday (April 16), the official Instagram handle of Sony TV dropped a hint about the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepti. The text on the post read, "Kaun hai aisa? Jahan nahin hota koi khaas aur aam, jo sabka karta hai sammaan. Jo nahin maanta koi bhed, jiske paas gyaan usey banata hai ye mahaan."

"Agar aap de paaye iss paheli ka jawaab, toh hum jald hi kholenge ek bada raaz," the caption read, promising to unveil the surprise about the show soon.

AMITABH BACHCHAN TO HOST KBC 15

"Kaun Banega Crorepati 2023 will hit the airwaves in the month of August. There's no official confirmation about the launch date but it will take a prime time slot on Sony Entertainment Television. Amitabh Bachchan, who is recovering from an injury that he suffered on the sets of Prabhas' next, will return as a host once again in KBC 15," a source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat.

KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI 2023 REGISTRATION PROCESS

"Just like last season, the makers will follow an extensive process for registration. Contestants need to keep a tab on Sony TV as the makers will announce the date for registration soon. It is slated to start from April 29. This season will be bigger, better and grander," the source added.

Last season, the production house increased the prize money to Rs 7.5 crore on account of India's 75 years of independence from British Raj. They also added a new threshold at 75 lakhs, ensuring that the contestant won't go down if he/she answered the Rs 1 crore question incorrectly.

Kavita Chawla was the only contestant, who managed to win Rs 1 crore in KBC 14. She became the first 'crorepati' of season fourteen.
