Not Megha Chakraborty-Karan Vohra's Imlie, THIS Star Plus Show To Go OFF AIR After IPL 2023?

Imlie news: Gossip mills love churning out stories related to the fate of non-performing shows on the small screen. However, it is rare when a popular show faces the axe despite good TRPs. After the promo of Star Plus' Titli was released, speculations were rife that Imlie might be pulled off air to make way for the upcoming show.

IMLIE NOT GOING OFF AIR

Megha Chakraborty-Karan Vohra's Imlie, which took a generation leap last year, has been doing quite well in terms of ratings. The rumours about the show going off air or witnessing a time slot change surprised the ardent viewers of the show.

It all started when Star Plus unveiled the first promo of Titli. Interestingly, the numbers of Imlie dropped at the same time, sparking speculations about its end.

Contrary to the rumours, Gul Khan's show, which earlier starred Sumbul Touqeer, Gashmeer Mahajani and Fahmaan Khan is not going off air. A newly launched show will bid adieu to the audience soon, if the recent buzz is to be believed.

CHASHNI UNDER SCANNER TO GO OFF AIR

According to a report in Bollywoodmdb, Star Plus has decided to pull the plug on Chashni. Sources told the website that the creative team tried to spice up the ratings by introducing a leap; however, things didn't turn out as planned. The channel has decided to cut the losses by ending the show, the report added.

Star Plus has not made an official announcement about Chashni bidding adieu to the viewers. The show starring Sai Ketan Rao, Amandeep Sidhu and Srishti Singh was launched on March 9, 2023 with much expectations. However, the daily soap has failed to get a decent response at the 11pm slot.

While many channels air repeat telecast of its shows, Star Plus is the only GEC running a show at 11pm.
