Sumbul Touqeer new show: It's difficult to control our excitement as TV's Imlie is making a comeback to the fiction space soon. After impressing everyone with her power-packed performance in the Star Plus drama, the 19-year-old participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16. Even though she didn't win the reality show, she came out as a 'true winner' and earned a significant fan following.

SUMBUL TOUQEER KAVYA LAUNCH DATE, TIME SLOT

After Bigg Boss 16 ended, Sumbul Touqeer Khan kept herself busy with music videos, audio series and a short yet sweet stint in Entertainment Ki Raat. After weeks of speculations, it has been finally confirmed that she is all set to feature in a daily soap.

Filmibeat was the first portal to share Sumbul's look as Kavya from Sony Entertainment Television's new show. The title of the upcoming project is said to be Kavya- Ek Jazba Ek Junoon.

There were mumours that Tina Datta starrer Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum would go off air to make way for Kavya. We even shared an update about the same.

A reliable source exclusively earlier told Filmibeat, "Sumbul Touqeer's upcoming show will be the next big launch on Sony TV. The show is expected to get a prime time slot on the leading channel. The higher-ups have not finalised a time slot or launch date for the drama. The channel has not taken a decision on Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum which is struggling to gain TRPs."

"Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 is expected to replace Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum from next month. Sumbul's drama most probably will beam at 8:30 or 10pm slot. Katha Ankahee is doing well for Sony TV and I don't think it will end so soon," the source further said.

BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN 3 TO GO OFF AIR

Filmibeat has learned an exclusive and spicy update from the world of television. Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum is saved from the axe for a few days. Our Khabri has informed us that Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 will end on Sony TV next month.

"Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 was always meant to be a finite series. It is expected to go off air in August 2023 as it was a 3-month fixed show. Kavya is said to bolster Sony TV's early evening programming. The actress has shot for the promo and she will commence the shoot soon," the source quipped.

Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar starrer Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 will go off air after a successful short stint on the small screen. The romantic drama was launched on May 25, 2023 and it replaced Niti Taylor and Randeep Rai's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
