Tejasswi Prakash's show ended with a grand finale on July 9, confirming the start of a journey of a new nagin. The Bigg Boss 15 winner managed to create ripples during her stint in Naagin 6, setting the TRP charts on fire. After she bid adieu to the audience as Pragati, the production house revealed that a new nagin will take her place.

Speculations are rife that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Ayesha Singh are in the race to play the main lead in Naagin 7. Amid the conjecture, gossip mills suggested that PCC has already started the shoot for Naagin season seven.

Yesterday, the Bigg Boss 16 second runner-up denied the speculations of doing Naagin 7. She said that she is aware of the conjecture floating on the internet and she is happy to see her fans running a social media trend.

A report in Tellychakkar said that Priyanka reached the sets of the show to commence the shoot. Sorry, but we couldn't digest the news as Naagin 6 just ended and the shoot for the new season cannot start so soon. So, what's the truth behind the rumour?

A source close to the show exclusively told Filmibeat, "Naagin 7 is yet to go on floors and here we have rumours about Priyanka Chahar Choudhary starting the shoot and reaching the set. All rumours are rubbish."

The khabri laughed off the speculations and shared, "The pre-production on Naagin 7 will commence in a few days. The girl you see in the promo is not the real actress, who is playing the lead role. The promos are always shot with another actress. While her figure might resemble Ayesha Singh and Priyanka Choudhary's, but the production house has not finalised any heroine for the show."
