Barsaatein Launch Date: All eyes are on Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon's show as it is one of the most awaited properties on Indian television. After the culmination of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2023, Sony Entertainment Television is all set to spice up its weekday programming with a new show titled Barsaatein.

SHIVANGI JOSHI'S NEW SHOW BARSAATEIN

The new drama is the brainchild of Ekta Kapoor, who is currently producing Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 for the same channel. The romantic drama co-starring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar was launched last week with a bang.

And now, the leading GEC is ready to take the viewers on a roller coaster ride filled with drama, emotions and romance. We earlier shared an update about the show with our readers.

"The title of the show is Barsaatein and it will have a fresh storyline, different than the run-of-the-mill soaps on telly. As the title suggests, it will be launched at the right time, during monsoons, signifying the theme of the drama. Shivangi and Kushal's new avatars will definitely leave the audience awestruck," a source exclusively told us.

BARSAATEIN LAUNCH DATE, TIME SLOT

A report in India Forums suggested that the show is launching on June 19 on Sony TV. It usually takes a month before any big-budget launch goes on air. So, we contacted a top source to know the same.

"The promo shoot for Barsaatein took place last Friday. There's no way the show is going on air in the next 19 days. Yes, it will launch in June but at a later date. The channel is yet to finalise the time slot. It will getting a prime time slot between 9-10:30pm on the channel. Most probably 10pm. Things will be crystal clear in a few days. The promo is getting launched this week," the source exclusively told Filmibeat.

KATHA ANKAHEE IS NOT GOING OFF AIR- SHOW IS HERE TO ROCK N ROLL

There were mumours in the industry that Katha Ankahee might face the axe. Before you believe the rumours, we have to share an exclusive information with you. The daily soap is not going off air anytime soon.

"The channel is pleased with the ratings of Katha Ankahee and its performance at the competitive 8:30pm slot. Contrary to the rumours, it is not ending. The makers have a lot to explore in the storyline and they have even planned new twists and turns to keep the viewers engaged," the khabri quipped.

Adnan Khan and Aditi Sharma's show is here to stay and it will continue to entertain the audience.
