We cannot keep calm as Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon are coming together for a new project. Two of the most loved stars are Indian television have joined hands for a new show that will air on Sony Entertainement Television. While one is a TV diva, another is a heartthrob, who will make his return to the small screen after six long years.

Ekta Kapoor has roped in Shivangi and Kushal for her upcoming drama that will be different from the run-of-the-mill daily soaps. Guess what? The shoot for the show has commenced and now, a picture from the sets is going viral on the internet.

Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi can be seen romancing each other in the viral photo. While the Balika Vadhu 2 stars donned a pink outfit, the Bigg Boss 7 contestant was seen in a black shirt. If the leaked photo is anything to go by, we can expect sizzling chemistry in the show.

The official Twitter handle of Gossip TV shared the picture that was leaked from the sets. Fans couldn't help but gush over the duo, expressing their excitement on seeing them together.

One user said, "Cannot wait for the show as both Kushal and Shivangi are power-packed performers. It would be interesting to see their chemistry" while another tweeted, "We hope the makers release the promo soon as Shivangi and Kushal's pairing seems fresh and interesting."

SHIVANGI JOSHI NEW SHOW DETAILS

A source close to the channel had earlier exclusively told Filmibeat that Shivangi-Kushal's drama would launch after the culmination of Indian Premiere League 2023. The channel is yet to take an official call on the time slot of the show.

"Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon's show will go on floors in the upcoming days and it will launch post IPL 2023. The show is slated to get the 8pm slot. If BALH 2 TRPs improve, it can get an extension and the journalism-based show will get 10pm slot on the channel," the source added.

"Ekta Kapoor ma'am liked her cameo in Bekaboo, which she launched under her home production house. If things go as planned, we might Shivangi in the upcoming Sony TV show," the source had earlier told us when he confirmed Shivangi playing the lead role in the show.

On the professional front, Shivangi Joshi was last seen in a cameo appearance in Bekaboo that stars Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh.

Kushal Tandon is making his comeback to TV after six years with the show. Interestingly, his last TV show Beyhadh aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
