Sumbul Touqeer new show: It's difficult to keep calm as Sumbul Touqeer Khan is returning to the small screen with a new fiction space after almost a year. After her stint in Imlie ended, she immediately took up the offer to participate in Bigg Boss 16.

Although she didn't win Salman Khan's popular reality show, the 19-year-old earned a significant fan following. She hogged all the limelight when she was locked inside the Bigg Boss 16 house. After the show ended, she took on small projects including a music video, a non-fiction show, and audio web series.

And now, she is gearing up to showcase her acting prowess in a daily soap where she will be seen as an IAS officer. The story of the show will focus on an IAS and an IPS officer and how they come together. It will showcase the challenges faced by a female IAS officer and how she copes up with them along with managing her married life.

Earlier in the day, the first look of Sumbul Touqeer as Kavya was leaked online. The actress can be seen wearing a traditional outfit and flashing her million-dollar smile while striking a pose for the camera. She kept her hair in a ponytail looking pretty as ever.

The casting head of DJ Creative Unit confirmed that the show will soon go on air on Sony Entertainment Television. Can you guess the title of Sumbul's show?

According to Saas Bahu Saazish, the show has been titled as Kavya- Ek Jazba Ek Junoon. Once again, Sumbul is playing the titular. She has already won hearts with her impressive performance as Imlie opposite Fahmaan Khan.
