Naagin 6 last episode date: There has been constant chatter over Tejasswi Prakash's show ever since rumours about it going off air surfaced on the internet. While the makers remained tight-lipped about the development, gossip mills suggested that the show would go off air this weekend on Colors channel.

Filmibeat had earlier informed our readers that the supernatural might get extended till August. However, there was a sudden change in plans and the higher-ups decided to pull the plug on Naagin 6 rather than dragging further. In a shocking development, Tejasswi Prakash and Vatsal Sheth's show is ending this weekend with a blockbuster grand finale.

At a time when many shows have faced the axe, Naagin season 6 is ending after completing close to one year and five months. It's a big achievement considering several dramas have failed to resonate well with the audience. Despite multiple leaps and changes in cast, Ekta Kapoor's show continued to garner decent numbers compared to other weekday shows on Colors channel.

It has to be noted that it is yet not clear if Naagin 6 last episode will air on July 9 or July 16.

While it is understandable that the channel didn't want to drag the show, industry folks wondered why the makers have not promoted the grand finale on a huge level when Naagin 6 is their biggest property in the fiction space.

"The decision has been taken. Neerja will launch on July 10 and air for seven days a week, replacing Naagin 6 on weekends. ShivShakti, which premiered on June 19, will also get extended to Saturday and Sunday. There were mumours that Naagin 6 will extend till August but the drop in TRPs is said to be the reason why the channel decided to not drag the show anymore," a source exclusively told Filmibeat.

Naagin 6 co-starring Poulomi Das and Maheck Chahal recently witnessed the grand entry of Vatsal Sheth as the new lead opposite Tejasswi Prakash. He essayed the role of Raghav while the Bigg Boss 15 winner was seen as Pragati in the show.
