Indian Idol 13 ended with a blockbuster grand finale on Sunday (April 2). After entertaining the viewers for 30-long weeks, the reality show culminated its journey with a star-studded final episode where Rishi Singh was crowned as the winner of Indian Idol season 13. The Ayodhya boy defeated Deboshmita Roy, Chirag Kotwal, Shivam Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty and Sonakshi Khar to win the show.

Rishi Singh was presented with a cheque of Rs 25 lakhs from Sony Entertainment Television. Guess what? He also received a brand new Techy Brezza from Maruti Suzuki India Ltd as the 'Dream Prize'. From getting a music contract to gettting another cheque from the sponsors, Rishi got several things during the grand finale.

Indian Idol 13 Runner-ups Prize Money Revealed

Debosmita Roy and Chirag Kotwal were announced as the first and second runners-up of Indian Idol 13 respectively. They not only got trophy but also a cheque of Rs 5 lakhs each. Bidipta Chakraborty and Shivam Singh, who finished as third and fourth runner-up respectively, were presented a cheque of Rs 3 Lakhs each.

The top 6 finalists were given a cheque of Rs 1 Lakh from Elois Hair Removal Cream. The finalists also received gift hampers from the show's sponsors during the grand finale.

Rishi Singh On Winning Indian Idol 13

Rishi Singh expressed his excitement on lifting the trophy of Indian Idol 13, describing it as a surreal moment. He thanked the production house, channel and the judges for their wishes and support, giving a token of love to his fans for making him the winer.

"I still can't believe that I won the trophy of Indian Idol 13. The feeling is surreal! It was a dream come true moment for me when my name was announced as the winner of this season. It is a huge honour to be taking ahead the legacy of such a well-loved and prestigious show. I am grateful to the channel, the Judges, and the entire team of Indian Idol for giving us such a wonderful platform to showcase our talent.
